YA long time ago in a galaxy far, far away Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa were not brother and sister. Darth Vader wasn’t related to either one of them. In fact, Darth Vader was the guy who murdered Luke Skywalker’s father.
All that changed when Star Wars became a massive hit with theater goers. George Lucas, the movie’s creator decided to tweek the story set down in the original movie to make it more adaptable to a franchise of movies.
Personally, I don’t think that needed to happen, but what do I know. Luke and Leia became brother and sister. Darth Vader did not murder Luke’s father, he was Luke’s father. The movie called Star Wars became Star Wars: A New Hope.
The good people at Iron Studios are creating a statue that harkens back to the time when Luke and Leia were not related. It’s inspired by the original movie poster.
This statue is not slated to come out until later in September 2025. You can preorder it now from Entertainment Earth for $449.
That might sound somewhat expensive for a statue, but that is what 18 Star Wars Black Series action figures will cost if you buy them at full retail. What would you rather have, 18 Black Series action figures or this awesome looking statue? I’d pick the statue if for no other reason than the statue will be easier for your family to sell when you die.
