Contrary to what you might have read on right-wing Twitter, Lucasfilms didn’t fire Gina Carano for being a conservative. She didn’t work for them when she posted those garbage memes on social media.

“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a Lucasfilm spokesperson said in a widely distributed statement. “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
You cannot fire someone who does not work for you. Lucasfilms decided not to work with Gina Carano in the future. That’s not a firing. That’s not at all the way getting fired works.

I think Gina Carano is a garbage person. I also think she’s dumb. It takes real stupidity to think what pro-Trump supporters are currently going through under the Joe Biden regime is similar to what Jewish people experienced in World War Two. It takes weapons-grade stupidity to take that brainless thought and share it with the world on social media.
That’s what Gina Carano did.
