Vancouver loses game seven of the Stanley Cup, riot ensues

Last night the Boston Bruins defeated the Vancouver Canucks in game 7 of the Stanley Cup. The visiting Bruins beat the Canucks 4-0. If anything, the game wasn’t as close as the score suggests. Boston goaltender 37-year old Tim Thomas was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP. His performance in the Stanley Cup finals was outstanding. In the seven game series, he allowed only 8 goals.

Almost immediately after the game, Canucks fans responding by rioting in the streets, burning things, smashing windows and flipping cars.

As the above photo shows, the Canucks fan on the left witnessed his team go down in defeat, but he was able to loot himself a brand new purse, so everything is good.

I don’t understand why people riot. It looks like too much work to me.
