President Donald Trump spoke from the Oval Office last night. He poorly read a prepared document from the teleprompter that announced among other things, that travel to the United States from Europe will be suspended for at least a month beginning Friday (13 March). Travel from China where the coronavirus jumped from animals to people, was already banned. The United Kingdom will be exempt from this travel ban. At first, Trump announced this ban applied to both people and cargo, but that now appears not to be the case.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced three more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, bringing the total up to 13. None of the infected live near me. When that happens, I will stop rideshare driving. My plan is not perfect. What should I do? My mortgage doesn’t care about viruses.

Until the coronavirus makes landfall in Hagerstown and I stop driving,  I’m asking riders not to sneeze on me.
