Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris “Crush” Davis now has 49 consecutive at-bats without registering a hit. If you think that is some sort of record, you are correct. He’s now surpassed Eugenio Velez who had 46 at-bats without a hit during the 2010-11 seasons.

Bryce Harper wears Nike even though he endorses Under Armour

I was perusing Instagram last night when I spotted the above photo. It shows former Hagerstown Suns and Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper visiting the Mitchell & Ness flagship store in Philadelphia.  What caught my attention was his hoodie. Even though Harper signed a 10-year endorsement contract extension with Under Armour in 2016, he is wearing a Nike pullover hoodie.

Adam Jones signs with the Arizona Diamondbacks

The time has finally come where I can no longer identify as a Baltimore Orioles fan. My last straw with the team was their failure to resign outfielder Adam Jones. Instead, yesterday Jones signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

I feel sorry for Antonio Brown

The Pittsburgh Steelers traded star wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders. Last season Brown had 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and notched 15 touchdowns. If there was a better receiver last year, he played exclusively in a video game.

Bryce Harper, Phillies agree to 13 year, $330 million deal

It took Bryce Harper nearly four months to find a new home in baseball, but the hunt is finally over. Thursday the Philadelphia Phillies agreed to sign the former Nationals outfielder to a 13 year, $330 million deal.
