Remember when Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner, infected with the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, broke MLB rules and went onto the field to celebrate the Dodgers first World Series win since 1988?
Nine members of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and one family member have tested positive for the coronavirus, county health officials said.
The announcement comes barely more than a week after the team won the World Series.
The number of Dodgers organization cases was initially five, according to a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health post on Thursday that was updated Friday.
But a health department spokesperson said Saturday that there were four additional positive tests.
The identity of those who have tested positive was not released.
Justin Turner is a selfish, self-centered asshole.
This is a Twitter comment I made about Turner going back out on the field, knowing full well he was contagious:
When I think of all the people who had to die alone in a hospital without their loved ones at their side because of COVID protocols, I'm left feeling disgusted by Justin Turner and his selfishness.

Everyone needs to do what they can to prevent the spread of COVID-19
Until there’s a vaccine for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, we need to all work together to lessen the spread. We need to wear a mask, wash our hands, and keep our distance from others. We owe it to each other. Justin Turner doesn’t seem to believe in that. He’s out for himself. Justin Turner cares only about himself.
The season did not start on March 26 like it was supposed to. No one knew if baseball could even be played safely during the coronavirus pandemic. Major League Baseball worked closely with the Major League Baseball Players Association to come up with a way to safely play baseball. Before the season started on July 26, every player, including Justin Turner, agreed to follow special rules crafted because of COVID-19.
Justin Turner broke that agreement. Nine people in the Dodgers organization now have COVID-19. I hope he’s proud of himself.
