Is there any wonder why NFL viewership is down?

Last night’s Thursday Night Football game featured the Los Angeles Rams (4-9) versus the Seattle Seahawks (8-4-1). The Seahawks, of course, won, 24-3. The Rams are so bad they shouldn’t even be in the NFL.

When the Rams returned to Los Angeles, people described it as the second largest city in the United States having an NFL team again. I don’t think that’s even technically accurate. The Rams are a lot of things, an NFL caliber team they are not.

Los Angeles is a terrible sports town. It’s even worse when it comes to the NFL. The area once had two teams, the Rams, and the Raiders. Both teams left LA for greener pastures. That’s if think of either St. Louis or Oakland as greener pastures.

The fact that the NFL chose a Rams-Seahawks game as something worthy of prime-time national viewership shows just how out of touch they are with reality. To sweeten the pot, to make last night’s game even more unwatchable, they had both teams wear special alternate uniforms. This is the same NFL that won’t allow the Rams to return to their original Los Angeles colors and logos until 2019. Instead, they have to wear the colors and logos they used in St. Louis.

I can’t imagine how terrible it must have been to watch last night’s suckfest. The Seahawks uniforms are the worst uniforms I’ve ever seen. And I’m a fan of ugly uniforms. These Seahawks uniforms are beyond ugly. They look like they could induce seizures or even eyeball cancer.
