Actress Hayden Panettiere, from the NBC superhero show Heroes, is currently in the Japanese village of Taiji protesting against the village’s annual dolphin hunt. Hayden Panettiere loves dolphins. She believes that it’s wrong to hunt them and to eat them.
She evidently doesn’t feel the same warm fuzzy feelings for other mammals. When she’s not playing a character on TV or protesting against the hunting of dolphins, she’s designing expensive purses made from the skin of baby cows.
Hayden Panettiere is seen in the above phone holding one of her purse creations. It’s made from Italian calfskin and it retails for around $300.
She knows that Italian calfskin comes from baby cows, right? To get the skin from a calf, the calf has to be killed. They don’t shed their skin like a snake. These calves, these baby cows, are killed for their meat and their skin. By designing a purse that is made from calfskin, Hayden Panettiere is responsible for the killing of adorable baby cows. Not only is she directly responsible for the death of baby cows, she’s actually profiting from it.
Would Hayden Panettiere feel differently about killing dolphins if she could make a purse out of their babies?
Hayden Panettiere is a hypocrite.
