The Mindy Project, a hilarious new situation comedy on Fox, stars Mindy Kaling as a New York OB/GYN. Kaling not only stars in the show, she created it. She originally created the show for NBC where she played Kelly Kapoor on The Office. NBC passed on the pilot, but Fox picked it up and have since signed it on for a full season.
The Mindy Project is the funniest show on TV.
Kaling not only starred on The Office, she was one of the writers. On The Mindy Project, she’s the creator, an executive producer, and writer. If the first two episodes are any indication, her talents on The Office weren’t properly utilized.
I thought the first episode was good. I liked the second episode even more. The third episode airs tonight at 9:30 PM and if you haven’t checked it out, do yourself a favor and watch it.
It’s really good.
