Secret Service allows reality TV wannabes to crash White House dinner party
Michaele Salahi, a Northern Virginia socialite who is trying to get on the Bravo upcoming reality TV show The Real Housewives of Washington, and her husband Tareq Salahi were allowed to crash President Obama’s first White House dinner. The dinner was in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Here is a photo of Michaele Salahi posing with Vice-President Joe Biden. Good thing she doesn’t know that “five finger death punch” technique from Kill Bill. Worse, that giant stupid looking ring on her finger could have a needle tipped with ricin or some other toxin.
I wonder who else the Secret Service is allowing to come into close contact with the President, who people tell me, is the nation’s first African-American President. I don’t see skin color so I have to take other people’s word on this.
I don’t want to tell Bravo how to produce reality TV shows, but if they want to create a show staring housewives from Washington, than perhaps they need to cast women who are housewives and who live in Washington.
Northern Virginia ain’t Washington and vice versa.
They are two distinctly different places that are very much not alike. Why call the show something it’s not? Would Bravo create a show entitled The Real Housewives of Manhattan and then cast it with women from Newark?
I think not.
John Edwards has Secret Service protection?
I was reading an article about the guy living next door to John and Elizibeth Edwards. His name is Monty Johnson. He is the man Elizabeth Edwards referred to as a “rabid, rabid Republican.” She also said she didn’t want her children anywhere near him because of his love for guns.
In the article, Monty spoke of first seeing the Edwards:
The day they looked at their property, the couple and several Secret Service agents parked on his land and walked across the street into the woods.
Johnson approached the agents and asked what they were doing on his property. “The Secret Service let me know it wasn’t my concern,” he said.
Did they use The Force? Like Obi-Wan telling the stormtroopers, “These are not the droids you are looking for.”
Why would Edwards even have Secret Service protection? I thought that only happened when a candidate actually won his (or her) party’s nomination. Edwards would have had such protection while running for the Vice President in 2004, but in another article written in January of this year it states that they recently moved into this home.
Would the Edwards even have time to go house hunting will running for Vice President?
