Geraldine Ferraro is pissed
Former vice-presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro doesn’t like being grouped in with Barack Obama’s paster Rev. Jeremiah Wright. This is a result of Ferraro saying that Obama was Obama is “lucky” to be black. The implication was that if he was a pasty white guy with red hair, he wouldn’t be as popular as he is now. To put it in context, Ferraro said the same thing about herself in that she would not have been selected to be the vice-presidential candidate if she wasn’t a woman. She said she was lucky to be a woman.

“To equate what I said with what this racist bigot has said from the pulpit is unbelievable,” Ferraro said today. “He gave a very good speech on race relations, but he did not address the fact that this man is up there spewing hatred.”
Ha! She called Rev. Jeremiah Wright a racist bigot.
