A used car dealership outside Denver, Colorado has put up a billboard connecting President Obama to a turban wearing jihadist. It also calls into question Obama’s birth certificate and it instructs sleepy Americans to remember the Fort Hood massacre.
You’ve got to admit that President Barack Obama and Major Nidal Malik Hasan are so much alike.
Barack Obama’s mother was a white woman from Kansas and his father was a black man for Kenya. Hasan’s parents are Palestinians who immigrated from the West Bank to Virginia. Obama was born in Hawaii. Hasan was born in Virginia.
The similarities just don’t end there. Obama is a Christian, and has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savor. Hasan is a devout Muslim. Obama is married and has two children. Hasan is a confirmed bachelor with no children.
In his off-time, Obama wears old lady jeans, while Hasan wears traditional white Arab garb.
The similarities between the two men, President Barack Obama and Major Nidal Malik Hasan, are really quite remarkable. I for one am glad that this used car dealership had the courage to erect this sign.

U.S. Army psychiatrist Major Malik Nadal Hasan, the American of Jordanian decent that brandished two handguns and opened fire on a large group of his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, is still alive. He was not killed on the scene as reported yesterday. He was shot four times and is in custody at the hospital. Reports now say that he’s expected to live.
What a shame.
On the scale of things, a field grade officer who is also a psychiatrist, turning a weapon on his own fellow soldiers, has got to be one of the most horrendous things you can imagine. At least it’s one of the most horrendous things I can imagine. Whatever happened to doctors doing no harm?
About six months ago, Hasan posted a comment concerning martyrdom and suicide bombing that seems to be defending the practice. Hasan wrote:
There was a grenade thrown amongs [sic] a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally [sic] took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled [sic] this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees [sic] in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that “IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE” and Allah (SWT) knows best.
It’s ironic that a Muslim U.S. Army major can post a comment on the Internet that essentially defends suicide bombings by equating the terrorists who do them as being heroes, but if he had posted that he was gay, he would have been quickly discharged. Federal law enforcement officials learned about Hasan’s Internet postings six months ago. If six months ago he posted that he was gay, he would not have been Fort Hood yesterday.
He would have already been a civilian.

I don’t like Texas. I never have and I never will. I have many reasons for feeling this way, but mostly it’s because it’s full of Texans. Lots and lots of Texans.
From today’s Houston Chronicle:
A University of Texas poll to be released today shows Republican presidential candidate John McCain and GOP Sen. John Cornyn leading by comfortable margins in Texas, as expected. But the statewide survey of 550 registered voters has one very surprising finding: 23 percent of Texans are convinced that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is a Muslim.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that 23 percent of Texans think Barack Obama is a Muslim. I should be surprised that 77 percent of Texans don’t. Then again, I’m sure a great many of them don’t even know what being a Muslim actually means.
The New York Times profiles Andy Martin, the man that convinced many ham & eggers that Barack Obama is a Muslim. The fact of the matter is that Obama is a member of Team Jesus. He is a Christian. He has never been a Muslim.
I learned a long time ago from an old Davey and Goliath episode that taught to not trust anyone with two first names. It’s a rule that has served me well over the years.
The article states that Andy Martin graduated law school, but but his admission to the Illinois bar was blocked because of well-documented psychiatric problems. Who knew you couldn’t be a lawyer if you were raving psycho? Just because he never went on to become a lawyer doesn’t mean that he doesn’t know his way around a courtroom. He is kind of infamous for filing many frivolous lawsuits. In fact, he was once featured on a CBS News program 48 Hours in 1993 devoted to the subject of frivolous lawsuits.
The guy’s not only bat-shit crazy, he is extremely antisemitic. He once called a judge a “a crooked, slimy Jew” and he made some weird comment that every passing day, he feels less and less sorry that that Holocaust took place.
Even though Andy Martin is too crazy to be an Illinois lawyer, he’s not too crazy to be an expert guest on Fox News. He recently appeared on a show hosted by Sean Hannity entitled Obama & Friends: The History of Radicalism. It was on this program that Andy Martin was identified not as the racist kook that he is, but as an “author” and a “journalist”. [New York Times]

Andy Lacasse, a Korean war veteran living in Barefoot Bay, Florida has erected a sign in this front yard in an attempt to better educate his neighbors about Democratic Presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama.
Not only does Lacasse want people to know about Obama’s parental lineage, he wants them to know he is made of muslin, a certain type of type of finely-woven cotton fabric.
How can a man be made of fabric? [Channel 13 Central Florida News]
