What took Edwards so long?

Formal Presidential hopeful John Edwards got off the fence and is now endorsing Barack Obama. Not that I’m surprised that the guy who enjoys $250 haircuts and owns his own squash court is endorsing the fella that likes to bitch about the high cost of arugula.

What a surprise!

If you’ve been following my ramblings on this blog, you know I never have been a big fan John Edwards. He always pegged the red on my internal fake-o meter.

I don’t have much respect for personal injury lawyers. Though I am more then willing to admit that they serve an important function in society, that doesn’t mean I admire a man that made millions because a young girl had her lower intestines sucked out by a faulty pool filter. I admire millionaires that made their fortune by building something or creating something. Two things had to happen for Edwards to make money; A doctor had to make a mistake and a patient had to suffer because of it.

Edwards dropped out of the race over three months ago. Why did it take this long to pick a bandwagon to jump on? Good thing he came in third-place for the Democratic nomination. Making quick, decisive decisions obviously ain’t the man’s thing.

Unless of course it’s about where to get a haircut.
