I don’t understand the whole Groundhog Day phenomenon, nor do I want to. The whole idea of deciding how long winter will last based on the activity of a groundhog seems more than just a little stupid to me.
Why can’t people just look at their calender?
Instead, thousands of people gather at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and wait to see if a groundhog named Phil sees he shadow.
If Groundhog Day isn’t one of the dumbest holidays practiced in North America, I don’t know what is.
