Will someone please tell Obama to stop bowing?
What is it about President Obama that prompts him to bow to foreign dignitaries? First he bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia, now he has bowed to the Japanese Emperor Akihito. Does he just go around bowing to everyone he meets and we don’t see it because there isn’t a photographer around?
I don’t get it.
I bow to no one. I never have and I never will. Is it too much to ask that the guy living in the White House do the same?
He needs to knock it off and start practicing better posture. It’s embarrassing enough that he’s a Chicago White Sox fan. Is he trying to give TEA Baggers a photo to put on their protest signs?
President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah
President Obama greeted King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia before the official G20 leaders group photo at London’s Buckingham Palace by bowing to him.
There’s also video of the act. It happens at about the 0:54 mark.
There are just some things I’d hoped that I’d never have to see. The President of the United States bowing to anyone, let alone to the King of Saudi Arabia, is just one of those things. I thought it was bad when President George W. Bush was photographed holding hands with that asshole.
This really makes me both mad and embarrased. Mostly mad.
