Today marked the birthday of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president and the first president to be assassinated while in office. He also appeared on Star Trek a couple of times, though to be honest, I’m not really sure that was really him.
Some say Abe Lincoln was our greatest president. I won’t go that far, but I am willing to say that he was our greatest Republican president. I’m just not convinced that he was ever qualified to be president. The Constitution states that anyone serving as president must be a “natural born citizen” and I’m not sure he met that requirement.
I think he was born in Kenya.
I have no proof of course, but who needs proof when questioning the nationality of the President of the United States? Where’s Lincoln’s birth certificate?
A used car dealership outside Denver, Colorado has put up a billboard connecting President Obama to a turban wearing jihadist. It also calls into question Obama’s birth certificate and it instructs sleepy Americans to remember the Fort Hood massacre.
You’ve got to admit that President Barack Obama and Major Nidal Malik Hasan are so much alike.
Barack Obama’s mother was a white woman from Kansas and his father was a black man for Kenya. Hasan’s parents are Palestinians who immigrated from the West Bank to Virginia. Obama was born in Hawaii. Hasan was born in Virginia.
The similarities just don’t end there. Obama is a Christian, and has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savor. Hasan is a devout Muslim. Obama is married and has two children. Hasan is a confirmed bachelor with no children.
The similarities between the two men, President Barack Obama and Major Nidal Malik Hasan, are really quite remarkable. I for one am glad that this used car dealership had the courage to erect this sign.
Republican congressman Mike Castle from Delaware held a Town Hall meeting with his constituents and shocker or all shockers, a bunch of right-wing Birther wackos showed up to make their voice heard.
One of the most vocal was a woman who showed Castle her birth certificate from “The United States of America” that she claimed said she was an American citizen. For some reason, she seemed to think this proved that President Obama wasn’t a citizen of the United States. She told the congressman that President Obama was born in Kenya.
Silly woman, everyone knows that Obama was born in the radical Islamic jungles of Hawaii.
I think it’s really kind of sad that some people still have a huge problem with Barack Obama as President. Talk about sore losers. Every four years we hold an election. Sometimes the person you liked and admired wins and sometimes they don’t. That’s just the way it is. That’s the way it’s always been.
The people that have a problem with this concept simply need to grow up and stop whining. They need to stop clinging to silly conspiracy theories.
