Terrorists in Gitmo to get H1N1 swine flu shots before you do

The Pentagon will offer the H1N1 vaccination to detainees at the U.S. facility at Guantanamo Bay, officials there said Friday.

The Pentagon made the decision based on U.S. government assessments that people held in detention facilities are at high risk for the pandemic, said Maj. Diana R. Haynie, a spokeswoman for Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay, which is in charge of holding the suspected terrorists.

“Detainees at JTF Guantanamo are considered to be at higher risk and therefore they will be offered the H1N1 vaccination,” Haynie said.

You have to admit that there would be a certain amount of comedic irony for an American hating, beard wearing Muslim terrorist to die in bed because of the swine flu he got from another American hating, beard wearing Muslim terrorist. These guys go their whole life without knowing how tasty a B-L-T sandwich is because they cannot eat bacon. To die in Cuba from the Mexican pig flu?

That would just be ridiculous.

Evidently some people are upset that these terrorists are getting access to the H1N1 vaccine while the rest of us have to wait. I guess this just goes to show that there are benefits of having that awful, yucky government provided health care.
