We stopped by Wal-Mart yesterday and I spotted this sign announcing a sale on wireless printers, Lexmark Z2420 printers to be exact. Wal-Mart was selling them for $58.88 which is pretty good since Lexmark lists them a $79.99.
Evidently that wasn’t good enough of a savings for Wal-Mart. As the photo shows, the lowered the price from $59.88 to $59.00, a whopping sum of eighty-eight cents.
In case you couldn’t figure that out for yourself, Wal-Mart is nice enough to point this fact out. It’s as if they don’t want to bother you with doing the hard math, they just want you to save some money on a wireless printer.
Eighty-eight cents to be exact.

Wow! I’m on my way over there right now — can’t pass up that deal!
BTW It’s been my experience that the hard math might in fact be a little tough for some of our Hagerstown shoppers…
Hey, it is for me. Luckily for me, the iPhone has a calculator built right in. :)
On another note, we were at the outlet mall yesterday and we stopped by the Nike store. I was looking at a sale rack where everything was 25% off. They had a price chart that showed the original price along with the new sale price. The first column was correct, the remaining columns, not so much. After the first column, the prices increased by 25%. Oops!
Methinks thou art too modest. Air Force and engineering experience = can subtract 88 cents. But, hey, I always use a calculator, just in case.
It would be interesting to know how long that 25% sign had been up!
WOW! With an eighty-eight cent savings, I hope you snapped up several of those! : )

Walmart does a great job encouraging North American manufacturing overseas. That is all that retailer has done for Canada/ United States.
Walmart is cancer.
