Alaska Governor Sarah Palin announced today that not only would she not be seeking a second term as governor, she will be stepping down in a few weeks.
Huh?
This makes no sense and that’s saying a lot for someone such as Sarah Palin. She didn’t step down when she gave birth to a special needs child. She didn’t step down when she ran for vice president of the United States. If she was prone to quiting, you would think she would have done so when either one of these two events took place.
This makes absolutely no sense.

/ July 3, 2009It may be too early to mention, but she’s quitting because her and I are running away. I was stationed in Alaska from ‘87-’90, and she called up the other night looking to get back together. I told her I couldn’t play second fiddle to the whole political circus, and today I read the headlines! She made the right choice, in my opinion.

/ July 4, 2009Maybe her scientology overlords demanded she move further up the bridge.

/ July 4, 2009She’s not a Scientologist. She’s Assembly of God.

/ July 4, 2009No matter how I look at it, this decision screams “BAD IDEA JEANS.” If she’s trying to hide something, she just gave people all the more reason to get suspicious and start digging up dirt. If she really was entertaining people’s urges to run for president in 2012, she can kiss that notion goodbye now. Can you imagine the attack ads?
“Sarah Palin abandoned Alaska. Who says she won’t abandon America?”
My Respect-for-Palin meter is on EMPTY already, but if it could go lower, it would.

/ July 5, 2009I’m predicting some scandal comes out- quitting now is counter-intuitive to chasing higher office, and she’s not qualified, anyways. I have no problem with women leaders, and before I becme Independent, I was republican. Mrs. Palin just doesn’t have the experience or common sense to be a national leader. She would not get my vote.
