4-year-old boy shoots babysitter with a shotgun

A 4-year-old Ohio boy got angry when his 17-year-old babysitter, Nathan Beavers stepped on his foot. In fact, he got so angry he went into a back bedroom and grabbed an unloaded 20-gauge single-shot shotgun, loaded it, and then returned to the living room and shot him. From The Columbus Dispatch:

The boy’s father said he was shocked that his son knew how to load and fire the shotgun. The boy has watched others shoot but never was taught how to handle a gun, he said.

The 20-gauge single-shot shotgun is the standard weapon of choice when it comes to 4-year-old boys. I always assume children are armed. Think about it. Why do you think they are usually so rude when out in public? There’s a reason they act so loud and obnoxious in restaurants or in stores. It’s because many of them are packing heat. Show me a kid making a lot of noise and being disruptive and I’ll show you someone that probably has a handgun in their pull-ups.

If you tell them to keep it down and stop making so much noise, they might just pump a couple rounds in you.

Once again, you made me laugh. Then, I thought, Hmmm, quite possibly I should not be laughing about something so serious. I guess it was the reference to a kid packing heat in his pullups. Yes, that’s what did it. You are a funny man.
