Rumor: Governor Sarah Palin’s baby is really her grandson
Daily Kos currently has a blog post — they call them “Diaries” — up that claims that Governor Sarah Palin’s 4-month old baby with Down syndrome might be her granddaughter grandson. Evidently there is a rumor going around that the baby is Palin’s teenage daughter’s child, not the Governor’s.
They linked to an article in the Anchorage Daily News published this past March that broke the news that Palin at the time was 7-months pregnant. The problem was that she didn’t look pregnant. Supposedly her own staff was caught off guard by the news.
It states on Daily Kos that Palin’s teenage daughter was out of school and unseen by anyone for months because she had mono.
I’m somewhat surprised that this story would appear over on Daily Kos. I highly doubt the mainstream news will touch this, unless you consider the National Enquirer to be a member of the mainstream news media.
I’m not sure how Republicans or conservatives will respond to this rumor. Palin is extremely anti-choice. While running for Governor of Alaska, Palin stated in a debate that even if her daughter became pregnant in the result of a rape, she would “choose life”. I believe that is code for forcing her underage child to have her rapist’s baby.
That’s just plain nuts.
How would Governor Palin and her husband respond if their teenage daughter became pregnant? Would they hide the fact that their teenage daughter obviously had unprotected sex and became pregnant?

Please let’s get real and live in the real world, people who are power hungry will do anything, even hide the fact that their “perfect” daughter got pregnant out of wedlock, especially evangelicals !!
It does sound crazy but when I look at the pixturesa nd the timeline I’m beginning to wonder. Would like to see how it plays once it surfaces.

I hope that it is true.
This campaign is so much like a soap opera already that this addition would just round it out.
One candidate was held as a POW for years, maybe even brainwashed.
One candidate has a brother who is dirt poor and lives in Africa. Also, the same candidate’s middle name is Hussein.
Another candidate has a retarded baby, but in reality it’s her daughter’s retarded baby.
I’m popping up the popcorn and settling in with some beer. This ought to be awesome.
Judgment and poor behavior is the issue here not some sleaze mongering.

@John Nail: I read the entire article you linked to. The photo that shows the supposed “baby bump” on Bristol Palin is from 2006, long before anyone was pregnant with baby Trig.

There is a lot of smoke here for something that could so easily be disputed by birth certificate evidence, or some story about how Palin nurses her baby at work, etc.

If the child belongs to the daughter, it is commendable that the grandparents are raising it. Hopefully the daughter will make better pregnancy choices in the future. Does pro life mean to not use birth control or to not have sex before marriage? I am more worried about the Barack-Hussein family tree than the Palin one. And if we are nit picking, Michelle O. needs to work on her diction. That speech grated. Does not sound as if she did well in high school and college English. I am not reminded of John F. or Robert but rather of Michael Jackson. I am not inspired. I have been a Democrat since forever. The only Republican I like is Thomas Jefferson; but McCain has my vote based on honesty and patriotism.
We must look into this we can not have a leader who lies about the basics of life day to day (ABC TV Housewives did it) I am a true repblician and I wont be voteing for Mc Cain iam tiered of thise sleezball Repulican admistration and McCains Camp is being run by bushes ( I watched a Frontline on PBS about bush’s war the True republicans must see this its unreal goverment officials we interviewed FBI CIA elected officails it was the truth no lies not just the facts so this is a small issue to a bigger problems we must get down to the bottom of and when the clintons went threw there private matter JOHN MCCAIN CALLED CHELSEA UGLY WHAT A SCUM OF A MAN HE BECAME HE IS A CAR SALESMAN AND NOT A GOOD ONE .. Why are there no pictures out there on Palin in February & March ? If the baby was born in april there should be pictures with her looking very pregnant .Also where was her daughter at that time if she checked out of school and disappeared for about 5mo’s.
