I told you John Edwards was a fake
News broke out this afternoon that former Democratic presidential hopeful and all around fake John Edwards had as the National Enquirer reported earlier, had an extramarital affair with Rielle Hunter. He evidently is still claiming that the woman’s child is not his. Why anyone would trust him at this point is beyond me.
I cannot imagine the pain Elizabeth Edwards is going through right now. Now only is she dying from cancer, she has to deal with this mess. My heart goes out to her.
The timing of this announcement is more then just a coincidence. Not only did he pick a Friday to make this announcement, he chose the first day of the Olympics. People have their attentions elsewhere today.
The mainstream news media really dropped the ball on this. Why was the National Enquirer able to learn about this, but they were not? How pathetic they look. It is no wonder that newspapers are losing more and more readers each and every year. If they actually did their jobs and tried to uncover the truth, maybe people would still be reading them.

I don’t know that a personal mistake like this confirms his fakery.
By the way…Elizabeth Edwards asked all the people who feel sorry for what she’s going through to think of how much worse it is made by the voyeurism surrounding the revelation. So…if your heart REALLY goes out to her…
Kevin, I’m not engaging in voyeurism. John Edwards made his marriage to Elizabeth and the partnership the two had into a major aspect of his campaign. It was when he was running for President and then Vice-President in 2004 and it was in 2008.
And if he can’t even remain true to her as she dies of metastatic Stage 4 cancer, what does that say about his character? Not too much. When you have a politician with as little experience as John Edwards, character becomes more important then ever.
But, but, Bent, it was only a “LIAISON”…..What a jackass! I never did like that guy….
I think LIAISON is what people that get $500 haircuts and have their own private squash court call screwing around on their wife.
Hey…I’m not telling you what to do…but the people standing around watching from the sidelines making comments about her relationship with her husband? That’s her definition (and pretty much the textbook one) for voyeurism here. I think she’s asking the impossible when she asks people to not engage in any amount of it, though.
