Going to California

Sheri and I are driving down to Dulles this morning to catch a flight out to southern California to visit my family. It’s been far too long since I’ve been home. We will be out there for a week.

We are flying on jetBlue. I’ve never flown them, but I’ve heard nice things about them. They have a TV built into the back of each seat. Not only do they show movies, they offer Direct TV along with XM satellite radio. An added plus is that they fly into Burbank Bob Hope airport and not Los Angeles International (LAX).

Sunday afternoon we are going to a Dodgers game with my brother Tim and his fabulous wife, Stephanie. Since they are still technically newlyweds, they will probably wear matching polo shirts and spend much of the game holding hand and staring into each other’s eyes. If they do, I will make sure to take lots of pictures.

Monday we are getting together for a big family get together.

Wednesday we are going to Disneyland with my parents. I love Disneyland. One of my cousins works at Disneyland. She works in the Haunted Mansion where she wears a spooky long dress and greets visitors as they enter the elevator. How cool is that?

I’m taking four books with me on the trip. All four books are in the Science Fiction and Fantasy genre:

Ok, technically that last book isn’t Science Fiction or Fantasy. I’m just being a smartass. I am planning on reading it though. Maybe it will change my mind about him. Then again, maybe it wont.

Though I’m taking my notebook PC with me, I don’t think I will be doing any blogging while I’m back home. I think I’m going to just take a break. Of course I might change my mind once I’m out there.

Changing my mind is something I do.
