What Don Imus said
From the April 4 edition of MSNBC’s Imus in the Morning:
IMUS: So, I watched the basketball game last night between — a little bit of Rutgers and Tennessee, the women’s final.
ROSENBERG: Yeah, Tennessee won last night — seventh championship for [Tennessee coach] Pat Summitt, I-Man. They beat Rutgers by 13 points.
IMUS: That’s some rough girls from Rutgers. Man, they got tattoos and –
McGUIRK: Some hard-core hos.
IMUS: That’s some nappy-headed hos there. I’m gonna tell you that now, man, that’s some — woo. And the girls from Tennessee, they all look cute, you know, so, like — kinda like — I don’t know.
McGUIRK: A Spike Lee thing.
IMUS: Yeah.
McGUIRK: The Jigaboos vs. the Wannabes — that movie that he had.
IMUS: Yeah, it was a tough –
McCORD: Do The Right Thing.
McGUIRK: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
IMUS: I don’t know if I’d have wanted to beat Rutgers or not, but they did, right?
ROSENBERG: It was a tough watch. The more I look at Rutgers, they look exactly like the Toronto Raptors.
IMUS: Well, I guess, yeah.
RUFFINO: Only tougher.
McGUIRK: The [Memphis] Grizzlies would be more appropriate.

This is all over the news, and it’s all Imus, Imus, Imus. I googled this Bernard Mc Guirk guy, and he’s apparently pretty much openly racist. And yet I hear nothing about him. What a couple of scumbags.
One of the things I find to be ridiculous about this whole thing is how Imus is the only one everyone seems to be fixated on.
@Brian Hughes - So Imus is a scumbag? Starting tomorrow he will be raising millions of dollars for sick kids. Something he does all the time. What will you be doing?
Well, I sure as hell won’t be alerting the media every time I donate to a charity.
Sincere generosity comes with a dose of humility, something that that unfunny douchebag knows nothing about.
Zod, you should also check out exactly what the “charity” is: it’s basically a summer home for Imus that only takes in children for 2 months out of the year. There’s also a a studio there so that self-serving douchebag can broadcast exactly how charitable and great he is in the months of July and August.

Maybe it’s safe to say that Imus falls somewhere in between a saint and and scumbag.
I heard that he’s the patron saint of scumbags.
Seams Imus got caught between two guys who wouldn’t let him finish a sentence. He has been at this game for years and never a chance of being fired. Why ? Because he always got his foot stuck halfway down his throat. This time he was just taking a few bites of it when these other guys starting force feeding him. I have never in 52 years seen or listened to his show, but everyone has to swallow hard sometime.
