		<description>No, I haven't tried it myself.  I almost bought a cable last night, but I don't really know when I would ever use it.  My dvd player plays avi movies.

I think Apple TV is just a way for Apple to sell more content on iTunes.  If I'm right, they are charging way too much.</description>

In fact, while I was waiting around for my wife one day, I asked the kid in Circuit City if he had the doohickey to do it. He said they did but it really didn't work well at all. To prove this point, he took one out of the box and we tried to hook my iPod up to one of the store televisions. We had no success. I think the video iPod is still a little ways off from successfully integrating with television.</description>
